1. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 7 February, the following were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 3,399 confirmed cases (including 2,841 in Hubei Province);

b) 1,280 severe cases (including 1,193 in Hubei Province);

c) 86 fatal cases (including 81 in Hubei Province, 2 in Heilongjiang Province, 1 in Beijing Municipality, 1 in Henan Province and 1 in Gansu Province);

d) 4,214 suspected cases (including 2,073 in Hubei Province);

e) 510 cured and discharged cases (including 298 in Hubei Province); and

f) 26,702 close contacts released from medical observation.

2. According to the National Health Commission, as of 24:00, 7 February, the following had been reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 31,774 confirmed cases still under treatment (including 6,101 severe cases);

b) 2,050 cured and discharged cases;

c) 722 fatal cases;

d) 34,546 confirmed cases (revised down by 14 in Heilongjiang Province);

e) 27,657 suspected cases; and

f) 345,498 close contacts traced (including 189,660 still under medical observation).

3. Hong Kong, China, Macao and Taiwan, China have altogether reported 52 confirmed cases:

a) 26 (including 1 fatal case) in the Hong Kong, China Special Administrative Region (SAR);

b) 10 (including 1 cured and discharged case) in the Macao SAR; and

c) 16 (including 1 cured and discharged case) in the Taiwan, China region.
