Haier U+ has carried out the research on the technical development, innovation and application of artificial intelligence around the construction of smart home ecosystem. In 2017, Haier U+ was the first to the global first AI smart home solution, AI interactive system and smart home solution based on the deep learning; in 2018, the first voice assistant of smart home – U Housekeeper – began to be applied in the whole-house and whole-scene smart voice interaction and collaborate with the distributed interactive entries such as intelligent sound box, virtual screen, Internet device screen, mobile terminal and wearable device to customize the whole-house smart life interaction mode for the users.

Haier U+ responded to The Development Plan for the New Generation of Artificial Intelligence and Three-Year Action Plan for Promoting the Development of the New Generation AI Industry (2018 – 2020), and entered “The List of Innovation Projects Deeply Integrated with AI and Real Economy in 2018 of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology” together with the domestic well-known science and technology enterprises such as Sogou, iFLYTEK and Cambricon by virtue of “Open Innovation Platform of Artificial Intelligence of Smart Home”.
