CES, also known as the Consumer Electronics Show, is an internationally renowned electronics and technology trade show, attracting major companies and industry professionals worldwide. The show is held in January each year at Las Vegas, United States. CES is essentially the time of the year when people around the world can have a sneak-peek into the latest and exciting technologies to be introduced for the upcoming year. CES attracts brands from around the globe which come under one roof to showcase the best of their products and technologies. Exciting products such as Advanced Personal Robots, Modular Televisions, electric cars, drones, smart concept kitchens etc. were in lime light at the CES this year.

Haier being the global leader in Home Appliances & Consumer Electronics and World’s Number 1 major appliances brand as per Euro-monitor International Survey 2015, showcased its innovations at the CES this year.

It’s all about smart appliances:

To begin with Haier displayed the U+ Smart Life Platform which is an open ecosystem network developed through consolidation of global resources. The U+ Smart Life Platform consists of smart air, diet, water, security, health, and entertainment ecosystems. The objective is to connect the home and bring consumer solutions to ease everyday life. The smart areas covered under this platform are Kitchen, Air, laundry, Security and Bathroom. Moving on Haier showcased other products such as innovative displays, the Wine-Cellar, the ultra-slim HaierPads, Wearables and refrigerators.

The most desirable tablets

Talking about tablets, tablets have become a part of our lifestyles today, people in all age groups desire to have a tablets with the latest technology. At the CES this year Haier unveiled its ultra-slim HaierPads (HaierPad W800, Windows HaierPad W203, HaierPad 971) which boast a variety of impressive features, including multi-core processors, QXGA (Quad Extended Graphics Array) resolution, powerful batteries and 8 MP high-resolution cameras with autofocus.

The new world of Smart TVs

Smart TVs have revolutionized the entire segment of televisions making it a must have to uplift the measure of our lifestyles today. In this segment, Haier unveiled some exhilarating range of televisions such as a remarkable 65″ curved UHD LED TV, a variety of Android based smart televisions and multiple 4K Ultra HD TVs ranging up to 85″.

Also on display was Haier’s 105″ LED Curved TV (Model no: LD105Q9000W) which boasts a resolution of more than 5K pixels to enhance the viewing experience. Introductions in the category also comprised of the Q9700 and the H9600 Music TV Series. Focusing big on Roku technology, which provides the simplest way to stream entertainment on your TV Roku TV models were also revealed by Haier. The specifications of Roku TVs combines Haier’s picture quality and bezel designs with the simple and easy-to-use streaming experience with nearly 2,000 streaming channels.

The exciting wearables

Coming to the wearables, wearables are the most talked about gadgets throughout the world at the moment, they help you stay connected and fit. Haier launched its category of wearables at the CES 2016 targeting the children and the senior citizens to help them stay connected to their families. The watch is equipped with a microphone and speaker for telephone calls. There is a red SOS button which can be used to send an alert to up to three numbers in an emergency situation. Through the app available on Android and iOS, parents can define the geographical safe zone for their children and also track their location. The smart watch for seniors includes similar features.

The innovative refrigerators

For all the star wars fans, Haier introduced one of the most funky looking refrigerator called the R2D2 refrigerator at the CES this time. This R2 unit boasts movie-accurate light and sound effects and even comes with a built-in projector that can stream content from your Android device. The refrigerator itself has an internal capacity of approximately six litres Each R2-D2 fridge will be made to order, and will come with a serial number and certificate of authenticity, making it the perfect collector’s item for any serious Star Wars ultra-fan. A smart fridge which has two huge displays which are powered by a user interface that has Android running was also introduced.

For all the Wine lovers:

Storing your wine in the right manner is the most important thing. Therefore for all the wine lovers Haier introduced an exciting wine-cellar at the CES this year with unmatchable features. It comes with a new alternative cooling system using a solid-state chip, coupled with H20/C02 heat exchange technology, which helps preserve the wine in the right temperature, so that the taste of the wine remains intact. It has additional features like No Vibration, Precise temperature Control and No noise. These features helps maintain the quality and taste of your precious wine. Designed with premium aesthetic sense, the new wine cellar complements the décor of a modern home.

Apart from this Haier also introduced many other exciting products at the CES 2016 to give a whole some smart living experience to its consumers. Small space living products focusing on the current need of the consumers due to the increasing consumer shift to smaller, urban living spaces were introduced, such as the 24″ Gas Cooktop, the 5.4 Cubic Foot Built-in Dual Drawer Refrigerator, 11.5 Cu. Ft. Top Mount Refrigerator etc.

All in all, Haier had put up a great show at the CES 2016 unveiling its innovative products focusing on providing a superior experience to its customers.
