American United Office Brand Wework Raised USD 500 Million in China to Accelerate Expansion in China

The financing will accelerate the growth in the business of WeWork in China and provide more Chinese members and creators with more design, science and technology, experience and local communities.

On July 27, 2018, WeWork announced WeWork China got B round financing of USD 500 million in total from the leading investors including Trustbridge Partners, Temasek Holdings, Soft Bank, Soft Bank Vision Fund and Hony Capital.

 

The financing will accelerate the growth in the business of WeWork in China and provide more Chinese members and creators with more design, science and technology, experience and local communities.

 

Two years ago, WeWork opened the first office location in China, and in the past two years, WeWork have distributed in 40 office locations in three cities to provide the community, culture and service for about 20,000 members in total and help them to start and expand their business. WeWork has also helped more overseas enterprises to enter the Chinese market and has helped the Chinese enterprises to expand the overseas business.

 

This April, WeWork spent USD 400 million to acquire Naked Hub and became the largest sharing office brand in Asia.
