Suzhou's first HAY store formally entered the Suzhou Center Mall on December 8th, 2017. The new Suzhou store adopted a new concept designed by David Thulstrup Studio. The area of the shop is 1,480 square meters, covering an area of two layers. It is the largest store in Asia at present.
David creates a great deal of conceptual design for the new Suzhou store. The architectural structure of the ceiling grid system connects the partition walls of different materials, which is divided into many abstract "rooms". Diversified products of HAY in it are clear at a glance. The store uses stronger and bolder yellowish and green walls, which are different from the past. And the store uses the green curtains that form the collision color with the orange red ground, and so on. Johnny, the Danish national builder, went to the store in Suzhou and built wooden floors, and presented a number of whole scenes of classic Nordic wind for the first time.
In addition, the shop is deliberately created a series of outdoor with a warm red brick area. Through the frosted glass wall, outside plants may be seen indistinctly with the display of the olive Palissade tables and chairs side by side. It creates a unique outdoor feeling.
There are also some products of HAY KITCHEN MAREKT in the store, which belongs to whole new series of HAY. The Chinese elements are introduced into the decoration, and a display cabinet is made of floor tiles produced in Yixing, China.
It is worth mentioning that a special speech space of HAY TALK is set up in the store, which is presented in the form of "ladder classroom" to provide more services to connect more fields. HAY hopes to communicate and learn with more domestic designers, grow together and build long-term relationships. At the same time, the HAY TALK site can be used as a commercial lease site to undertake a variety of offline activities such as art design, business exhibition, and so on.
In addition, flagship store of HAY carries the new boutique coffee Wagas Coffee Lab of WAGAS, a famous Danish light meal brand. It provides superior coffee and light food for more customers while buying HAY furniture.
