SPRING HILL, Tenn. — Vannie Morisey has joined the Fill Station Group as director of business development, a new position.

The Fill Station Group, based here, is run by Arthur Watkins, president, who also operates Spring Hill retailer Mattress Inn. He has a Fill Station Pillow Kiosk in his store, which creates customized pillows. That concept is being franchised by the Fill Station Group.

In her new role, Morisey is responsible for implementing comprehensive internal and external marketing and strategic plans to build a network of Fill Station licensees.

“Vannie Morisey is a dedicated sales professional with demonstrated leadership skills,” said Watkins, president and CEO of the Fill Station Group. “She has proven business development success and a track record of increasing the customer base and boosting profits.”

The new position marks a return to the sleep products industry for Morisey, who formerly worked as a marketing and sales professional for Tennessee-based Jamison Bedding. Promoted to a territory management position with Jamison in 2010, she worked with small and large retailers to grow their businesses. For the past two years she worked as a digital media consultant for a company outside the home furnishings industry but has been looking for an opportunity to return to bedding industry.

“I look forward to helping grow the business,” Morisey said. “This is the next evolution in the sleep products industry, and I am excited to align myself with a product that I know will help retailers boost their business.”
