JAMESTOWN, N.C. — Furnitureland South cut the ribbon Friday on the renovated main “Showroom” building, a multi-million project recently completed by the Top 100 company.
The showroom is part of the retailer’ 1.3 million-square-foot campus, and the renovation is part of a series of improvements the FLS has invested in in recent years. Others include the opening of a Modern Gallery in 2014, a renovated rug gallery and a 211-seat Subway restaurant.
“This Grand Re-Opening ceremony marks the culmination of a nearly two-year renovation of the showroom building, which will provide a better, world-class shopping experience for our customers,” Jeff Harris, president and CEO, said in a release.
To celebrate the grand-re-opening the retailer said it is offering additional manufacturer discounts on products throughout the store this month.
Furnitureland South is No. 52 on Furniture/Today’s Top 100 with estimated 2015 furniture, bedding and accessories sales of $155.9 million.
