Las Vegas enhances C-One for Summer Market

Las Vegas Market announced recently that a grand opening of new permanent exhibit space on C-ONE, its dynamic cross-category showcase of specialty tableware, lifestyle gift and better home décor resources, will result in the addition, expansion, renewal and relocation of leading resources at the Summer 2016 Las Vegas Market, July 31-August 4.
Las Vegas Market announced recently that a grand opening of new permanent exhibit space on C-ONE, its dynamic cross-category showcase of specialty tableware, lifestyle gift and better home décor resources, will result in the addition, expansion, renewal and relocation of leading resources at the Summer 2016 Las Vegas Market, July 31-August 4.
“Las Vegas Market is committed to reaching ever-greater heights of innovation and aesthetics, and these changes will enable us to better showcase C-ONE’s juried collection of directional gift and home décor resources,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “Since its launch in 2013, C-ONE has featured a stellar concentration of brands on the first floor of Building C many of which were presented in a temporary format. The conversion of these booths to permanent showrooms reflects a long-term commitment to the Las Vegas market and will significantly enhance the merchandising of these exciting lines.”
The newly installed permanent exhibition space on C-ONE, will feature several leading brands – Abbiamo Tutto, Alessi, Bodrum, MATCH, Nima Oberoi Lunares, Rolf Glass and Skyros Design – which have renewed and expanded in premiere lobby locations – as well as 10 brands debuting in three showrooms new to the floor. Newcomers to C-ONE for summer Market are Eva Solo (Danish-designed home accessories and kitchenware) and JIA Inc. (Chinese-designed cutlery and tableware) in 556 square feet; Fortessa Tableware Solutions/Schott Zweisel (tabletop, housewares and glassware), showcasing five brands – Zwiesel 1872, Schott Zweisel, D&V, Bella Vita, Jenaer Glas – in 1,800 square feet; Reidel Crystal (wine glasses, decanters, glassware, stemware) in 1,300+ square feet; and Spitfire Girl (lifestyle gift and tabletop) in 600 square feet. In addition, La Maisonnette (fine French tabletop, textiles, housewares and home accents) is transitioning from a temporary presentation to a 600 square foot permanent showroom on C-ONE.
In connection with these changes, several current C-ONE exhibitors also will expand their showrooms and assortments for Summer 2016. Skyros Designs (tabletop and accessories from Portugal) and Bodrum (linens) will increase by 35 percent to a 2,400-square-foot showroom; and Tamara Childs/Gilder (hand-gilded metallic tableware, gifts, home décor) will expand by 15 percent to a 600-square-foot space. Additionally, Canvas Home (sustainable housewares and home textiles) will renovate an existing showroom to showcase an enhanced product presentation on C-ONE; and Nest Fragrances (tabletop, lifestyle gift and fragrance) will relocate to C-ONE into a new, larger showroom.
New and expanded showrooms on C-ONE join an impressive array of well-known upscale tabletop, gift and home décor suppliers. C-ONE’s 60,000 square feet of showroom space features: Accent Décor, Couleur Nature; JURA Inc.; Lenox; Lothantique; Mariposa; Mepra, Michael Aram; Olivia Riegel; Prouna USA; Red Pomegranate; Vagabond House; Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton; and other leading resources.
Other Summer 2016 Las Vegas Market highlights include the addition of some 40 new tenants in the gift, housewares and home décor categories as well as 50 new furniture companies; concentration of new boutique home décor resources on C5; continued resource growth in the C10 Lifestyle Collection; the targeted expansion of C11 as the industry’s newest destination for gift-oriented housewares, gourmet products, specialty food and tabletop items; continued expansion in casual and outdoor products on C12 and C13; presentation of the top 15 bedding manufacturers; sold out home furnishings temporaries on B2 and expansion of The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market to feature some 500 temporary exhibitors.
