LOS ANGELES — Jerome’s Furniture has signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with baseball’s Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, making it the “Official Furniture Store of Angels Baseball.”
As part of the sponsorship, the San Diego-based Top 100 company will host a new Jerome’s Furniture Lounge at Angels Stadium for use during all 81 home games. The deal also includes several advertising elements, notably a billboard behind home plate, social media posts and more.
In addition, Jerome’s will be hosting a contest called the “Best Suite in the House,” providing fans the chance to win “the ultimate game-viewing experience,” in the fully-furnished Jerome’s suite in the VIP area on the first base side of the stadium. Winners will receive tickets to the game, have access to VIP parking, enjoy the game on sofa seating, and dine on free food and beverages.
Contestants also can win official Angels gear. The retailer said anyone can enter on iPads located in its stores in greater Los Angeles and San Diego, including its 12th store and third Orange County showroom slated to open in Fountain Valley, Calif., in May.
“Jerome’s is looking forward to our new partnership with Angels Baseball and is happy to hold the ‘official furniture store’ status,” said Jerome’s Senior Vice President Jim Navarra. As for the contest, he added, “I can’t think of a better way to enjoy an Angels game than in a luxury suite decked out with Jerome’s Furniture, complimentary food and beverages, and more.”
This Angels partnership marks the third professional sporting relationship for the retailer, which also has partnerships with the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers and baseball’s San Diego Padres.
“The Angles are proud to work with a Southern California based company like Jerome’s Furniture and are looking forward to our fans experiencing Angels Baseball from the comfort of Jerome’s new luxury suite," Angels Chairman Dennis Kuhl said in a statement.
