‘Furniture Manufacturing & Supply China 2015’ (FMC China 2015) will be staged at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center (SWEECC) and Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) from September 9-12, 2015. FMC China, which has been successfully held for 20 years as the wind vane for the development of the industry, will conduct resource innovation with its internal advantages in “Furniture China” this year. The two exhibitions will be held over the same period covering two major exhibition halls in Pudong, Shanghai, and attract many old and new exhibitors to actively participate. A lot of refreshing forums and activities will be planned on site in Pudong, Shanghai in September.

The Shanghai New International Expo Center gathers 3,000 furniture manufacturers of “Furniture China”, including modern furniture, branded furniture, sofas, original designs, office furniture, classical furniture, outdoor, and dining table and chair, and covers the upstream areas of FMC China, such as wood-working machinery, upholstered machinery, knife saws, hardware and office accessories, realizing the collaboration of upstream and downstream and more facilitating the purchase of visitors. The Shanghai New International Expo Center will show wonderful exhibits with the complete categories of furniture series at low, mid and high ends to meet the different purchasing demands of nearly 100,000 domestic and foreign visitors from 160 countries and regions. 
Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center also made great adjustments this year. The hall 1 will exhibit high-quality and affordable cost-effective furniture products with unique local characteristics in China’s 40 major furniture industry clusters, with six major exhibition areas including “Good Sofas of China”, National Furniture Industry Clusters, steel furniture, solid wood furniture, intelligent space and Chinese-style classic furniture. FMC Premium is created into a high-end exhibition in the hall 2, with famous exhibition groups from various countries including America, France, Switzerland and Malaysia. Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo Int’I Exhibition Co., Ltd. holds two furniture matchup activities on the downstream industry, including “Fabric of China, Sofa of China and Design of China” and “2015 China good furniture - Jiangxi Nankang Station”.
“Fabric of China, Sofa of China and Design of China” is an activity joined with Jiangsu Furniture Brand Alliance headed by Scihome and its sofa manufacturing enterprises. The upstream suppliers in “China Fabric City” Hangzhou Yuhang, including fabric enterprises, upholstered machinery and accessories, as well as many famous designers to jointly participate in and carries out new products, new technologies, new process exchange meetings, and a visit and investigation of upstream and downstream brand enterprises, to let the upstream and downstream of the sofa industry cooperate with each other and achieve a win-win situation. Designers select fabrics during the activity, and final design works will be collectively exhibited in “Good Sofa of China” exhibition area in the hall 2 of Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in September. 

Nankang, in Jiangxi province, is the one of Station of 2015 China’s Good Furniture, FMC joined with China (Ganzhou) Furniture Industry Expo to penetrate into the “Central China Furniture Industry Base” and carry out a pairing activity of solid wood and upholstered furniture, to help Nankang to be the 100-billion industry cluster. The China Furniture Industry Cluster Gathering will be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in September, and Nankang Furniture, as the representative of solid wood furniture, will exhibit the “Solid Wood Furniture”.

– Furniture Manufacturing Campaign “Replacing Labor with Machine”

The Campaign called “Replacing Labor with Machine” sponsored by China National Furniture Association (CNFA) will kick off in New International Expo Center during September 9 to 12, 2015. This is the first time for CNFA to lead large-scale exhibition activities linking upstream furniture and downstream machinery production equipment, so as to march towards Made-in-China 2025 – furniture manufacturing technical improvement. 

Furniture Standardization International Forum

Furniture standardization has gradually become the core competitiveness of furniture enterprises and also is an important means to march for the international market. The furniture standardization international forum specially invites International Furniture Standardization Organizations and domestic experts/professors and all members of National Technical Committee on Furniture of Standardization Administration of China to attend by virtue of the good industry atmosphere of Furniture China. The seminar focuses on interpreting the quality safety requirements of furniture products, standardized technical requirements of furniture manufacturing technique, etc.

Chinese Furniture Water-Borne Technical Forum

The forum will interpret the furniture VOC pollution fee policy and the water-borne paint encouragement subsidy policy. In addition, furniture enterprise bosses from Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou will be invited to share and communicate their practical technical experience in “replacing oil with water” on site.

2015 Wood Trade Meeting

FMC joined hands with the Raw and Auxiliary Material Specialized Committee of CNFA and successfully held the first China International Wood Trade Meeting in 2014 and attracted wide attention of the industry. In 2015, FMC continues to focus on the industry hotspot and again prepares a grand feast for the wood industry!

‘Woodfast’ DIY Woodworking Exhibition

To cultivate people’s interest in DIY woodworking, lead the DIY lifestyle, and also offer an offline communication platform for woodworking enthusiasts, FMC created an all-new exhibition called “Woodfast” DIY Woodworking Experience and Creativity Exhibition” in 2015, to focus on presenting the woodworking club, DIY equipment and tools and opening up a talented class to teach the DIY courses for free on the site. The activity is sponsored and greatly supported by Woodfast, and there will be Woodfast’s most professional DIY equipment exhibition and interaction on the site.
