Las Vegas Market announced that a dramatic and expanded presentation of temporary exhibits—The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market—will debut at summer market, offering some 90,000 total square feet of gift and home decor resources, organized in four categories: Design, Handmade, Home and Gift; as well as the introduction of a new category, “Discoveries--The Antique Vintage Marketplace.”

The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market are scheduled to debut Sunday, Aug. 2, to Wednesday, Aug. 5.

“This is the next big thing for Las Vegas Market, the first U.S. market to present temporary exhibits alongside permanent showrooms but in a dedicated and purpose-built tradeshow venue,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “This gives temporary exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their lines in a dramatic and easy-to-shop space, further strengthening and reinforcing Las Vegas Market’s position as the leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States.”

The launch of this expanded and newly re-imagined presentation of temporary exhibits is a key component in the third and final phase of Las Vegas Market’s strategic plan, which encompasses the creation of two new showroom floors in Building C—C5 for boutique home decor, textiles and accessories, and C11, for gourmet housewares, tabletop and specialty food—and the relocation of temporary exhibits from those floors to this dedicated, free-standing venue on the market campus.

The Pavilions will offer a column-free exhibit space, 50-foot ceilings, single-level access, and a climate-controlled environment. The size and convenient location of The Pavilions will allow continued growth of temporary presentations within the broader Las Vegas Market.

“The Las Vegas Market temporary presentation at the Pavilions will create a clean, compelling and categorized exhibit offering, and will help serve as an incubator opportunity for small emerging companies, as well as firms that are not ready for either a rep or an independent showroom,” Belshaw said. “The temporary presentation is not simply being picked up from Building C and relocated, but rather is being transformed into a cohesive and powerful presentation of trend-forward gifts, home decor, decorative accessories, personal and fashion accessories.”
