The High Point Market Authority has announced the 2015 Style Spotters team, a group of designers who visit furniture and accessory showrooms during the April and October markets to identify their favorite products and trends.

The 2015 Style Spotters are Michelle Jennings Wiebe, Style Spotter “Emeritus,” Studio M; Arianne Bellizaire, Inspired to Style; Kati Curtis, Kati Curtis Design; Beth Dotolo, Pulp Design Studios; Lori Gilder, Interior Makeovers Inc.; Patti Johnson, Patti Johnson Interiors; Courtney Lake, Monogram Décor; Jonathan Legate, Jonathan Legate Interior Consultation; and Leslie Hendrix Wood, Hadley Court.

During the markets, Style Spotters find their favorite products and top trends and leave behind a card on each item. These finds are then posted to the Market Pinterest boards and contribute to the two Trend Reports (April and October) that the Market Authority produces. Wiebe provides guidance to the team and writes the foreword for each Trend Report.

“The Style Spotter team for 2015 will work through both markets, which affords continuity and expanded marketing possibilities for the HPMA,” said Tom Conley, president and CEO of the Market Authority. “They represent the four corners of North America and bring to the High Point Market their individual style, social media followings and their ability to spot trends affecting the home furnishings industry.”

Market attendees can join the Style Spotters on Tuesday of market at 9 a.m. for Style Spotters Live, a free event at which a panel of Style Spotters will discuss the top trends and products they found at market. It will be in the International Home Furnishings Center Ballroom A, 11th floor Green Wing.

This event will be followed by the Style Spotters VIP Tours, which will leave at 10:30 a.m. from the same location and also from outside the High Point Theatre in the Transportation Terminal. These are led by individual Style Spotters and offer an opportunity for attendees to see two of a Style Spotter’s favorite showrooms.
