Even before the start of the fair in January 215, the imm cologne team offers visitors the chance to get to know exhibitors’ products with the “immagine living spaces” Facebook app. Fans can furnish the virtual imm cologne-house by way of voting for pieces of furniture from selected exhibitors for the living room, the bedroom and the kitchen. Admission tickets to imm cologne and prizes from exhibitors Ligne Roset, Lambert Home or RAL will be raffled among all participants. The app rounds out the international furnishing fair’s social media portfolio and generates even more traffic on its Facebook page.

 

The “immagine living spaces” app invites participants to furnish a living room as the first step. Fans can choose from categories like sofas, carpets and accessories, among others. Every one to two weeks, another virtual room will be added online on Facebook which users can decorate to their own taste. For the participating exhibitors like Ligne Roset, Rolf Benz, interlübke, Bretz, Team7, Thonet, Lambert Home and Frommholz, the product presentation is the perfect opportunity to introduce their products to an industry audience as well as to consumers. The app also allows designers, bloggers and editors of living and design magazines and online portals to create their own inspiration boards and share them with the community.

 

Creativity will of course be rewarded: anyone who votes for his/her favourite piece of furniture for any one of the rooms will automatically be entered into a prize-draw. The exclusive sponsors of this year‘s competition are Ligne Roset, Lambert Home and RAL. Participants also have a chance to win admission tickets to the furnishing fair.

 

This Facebook app adds a new interactive application to imm cologne’s social media portfolio. Yet another tool is the blog which keeps interested parties informed about international trends. In addition, the furnishing fair can also be found on other social networks, such as Twitter, Xing, Flickr and Pinterest.
