Dutch furniture brand Moooi has launched a special armchair Hortensia, covered with thousands of petals, these petals are inspired by designers Andrés Reisinger and Júlia Esque.

The Hortensia armchair was originally a virtual furniture made by 3D rendering, and soon became popular on Instagram. The curves and iconic fabrics of the armchair are inspired by Hortensia, and more than 30,000 iconic petals are laser-cut. The designer innovatively copied the beauty of nature, sitting down, feeling comfortable and calm, as if you are sitting in a blooming flower, surrounded by smooth and soft petals.

"I really want this project to be realized with Moooi. I know that because their work has a good balance between art and design, there is no better place for Hortensia armchairs than Moooi." Designer Andrés Reisinger said.

The Hortensia armchair is unique in design and beautiful in shape, which can adapt to the needs of different scenes, such as living room, bedroom, dining room, etc. This year, moooi also launched two colors to choose from, classic pink and elegant gray.
