Piero Lissoni#B&B Italia
As the new artistic director of B&B Italia, Piero Lissoni will devote himself to planning strategies to further develop the brand's global image. Piero Lissoni and B&B Italia have been working together since 2017. Since then, Lissoni has steadily expanded the product range designed for B&B. He previously worked on the Liagò storage system for the brand. After taking office, he will bring the brand 2021 new outdoor series product Borea to debut.
Borea——2021
Borea is the first outdoor furniture series designed by Piero Lissoni for B&B Italia Outdoor 2021 after taking office. The series includes sofas, armchairs, dining tables and coffee tables.
The table tops of the dining table and coffee table are made of lava stone from Mount Etna in Sicily, Italy, and the glaze treatment brings a bright luster. Its aluminum frame structure is one of its characteristics, and the ends of the legs are curled outwards, giving a retro and elegant atmosphere.
Liagò Cabinet-2020
The design of Liagò is inspired by the tradition of Venetian architecture: a wooden outdoor porch featuring marble floors. The designer reinterpreted this classic in a new form.
Dock sofa-2019
The sofa provides a very comfortable experience for people. Its proportions are generous and balanced. The tailoring of the cladding and the attention to structural details all demonstrate the style and characteristics of B&B Italia, permeated with elegance.
Dock
Its leather-wrapped frame is equipped with soft and comfortable cushions, and its simple and capable design has great visual appeal and has become a trend indicator. Its capable linear appearance gives people a brisk and floating impression.
Spool-2019
Spool is a cute little coffee table under the bridge. It is made of printed and painted rigid polyurethane. It has a smooth surface and is available in 18 colors.
With its unique shape and strong tone, Spool shows a lively atmosphere, which can be matched with the Dock sofa series. In addition, Piero Lissoni also designed the same outdoor series.
Eda-Mame-2018
Eda-Mame is inspired by the edamame in Eastern cuisine, and its sculptural design has a strong impact. The biggest feature of Eda-Mame is the fusion of three types of seats: high-back chair, recliner and stool. Its versatility brings great convenience to residences and public places.
Eda-Mame is made of molded foam and decorated with stretch fabrics with some decorative stitching. Its superb curve and arc, even if it is a sculpture work, can not be refuted.
SAKé-2017
The seats and legs of the SAKé sofa are light and delicate, like a flying carpet suspended in the air. There are many sizes and combinations possible.
Piero has repeatedly thought about the visual lightness of SAKé. The indented metal feet support the weight of the sofa in a crisscross pattern. Pillows and cushions with the same material piping, the contour lines are more distinct and stylish.
Formiche-2017
The thin and simple Formiche side table is the second series of products designed by Piero Lissoni for B&B Italia.
The design concept of the base is the same as the SAKé base. The table top has round, egg and kidney bean shapes. The different heights create a rich visual effect. It is perfect with the SAKé sofa series. At the same time, the desktop has a variety of materials and shapes.
