Furniture Collection 0 by Design Studio Hi Thanks Bye

Inspired by the fusion of Canadian natural landscapes and Chinese aesthetics.

Toronto designers Stein Wang and Topher Kong set up the design studio Hi Thanks Bye and launched their first collection, Collection 0, which will debut at the London Design Festival next month.

 

Collection 0 is inspired by the blend of Canadian natural landscapes and Chinese aesthetics, with a shadow of Algonquin Park, the Bruce Peninsula and Fogo Island, combined with traditional Chinese garden features that blend rock, plant and water.

 

The collection is made of powder-coated stainless steel, including bookshelves, bar stools, dining chairs, side tables, floor lamps and carpets. The carpet was designed in collaboration with textile designer Avis Ho.
