Sergio Mannino studio announces the launch of its online design store within the premier luxury online design destination, 1st Dibs. Along with the most sought-after antiques, from the 18th century through the most influential contemporary designers, 1st Dibs will now host Mannino Studio's offering of credenzas, shelving structures, lighting designs, and vinyl linoleum floor patterns alongside such designer masters as Ettore Sottsass, Harry Bertoia, Le Corbusier, Charles and Ray Eames, Giuseppe Pagano, and Carlo Scarpa.

 

Based in Brooklyn, New York, Italian designer Sergio Mannino trained under design guru Remo Buti and Memphis founder Ettore Sottsass. Mannino's aesthetic fuses an Italian sensibility with a contemporary flair.

 

In addition to Mannino's furniture and lighting design, Sergio Mannino Studio has been tapped in New York City and abroad to create retail store interior designs and retail layout design. The studio's clients include Prada, Miu Miu, and Lexus or which the studio creates retail concept design and showroom design. Most recently, Sergio Mannino Studio completed residential apartment designs for a large complex in the mainland Chinese city ofShenzhen.

Sergio Mannino Studio is a retail store design firm with roots in Italian design and culture. Based in New York, the studio operates on a global scale, having worked on over 250 stores for companies such as Prada, Miu Miu, Lexus, Vince Camuto, Jessica Simpson, Miss Sixty, Breil, Kensiegirl, Steve Madden, and many others. Through an extensive network of consultants, store design projects can be taken from preliminary brainstorming to built form virtually anywhere. Studio principal Sergio Mannino earned an Architecture degree from the University of Florence and worked extensively in interior design with Ettore Sottsass and Remo Buti.
