Fresh Finds at Las Vegas Market 2015

Universal Strangers, a cool brand based in China with really neat pieces designed by New Zealand and French designers.

This week I headed to Las Vegas to check out the January Las Vegas Market show. I snapped it up on Instagram here and also on the Market’s Instagram account, sharing some of my faves while at the show, but here are my absolutely top picks:

Alessi’s new Trinity bowl: I’m obsessed with this. Nobody does tabletop better than Alessi.

Loved these adhesive wall tiles from W.O.O.D. – Walls of Original Design.

This rubber wall planter from Gold Leaf Design Group was so cool. Also, they make these beautiful wall decorations that you simply screw into your wall:

7th & Seventh Designs makes great modern furniture out of their factory in San Diego. Here’s a details shot of one of their chairs:

Loved this lamp at Noir Furniture.

I discovered Universal Strangers, a cool brand based in China with really neat pieces designed by New Zealand and French designers. Their goal: “To bring a new awareness of eco-consciousness to China’s furniture manufacturing industry and prove that high-end designs can be made in this manner.”

I am digging the graffiti fabric from Stylus.

Dar x Hello Kitty was super cute!

Dogberry Collections was one of my best in show: they’re booth was small but really well-designed. Their products were gorgeous and I loved the special details.

This bicycle table by Phillips Collection was a surprise.

I have to say that wasn’t the only surprise – I was pleasantly surprised to see so much modern design here and hope that this market continues to grow with even more modern design companies. I’ll definitely be back again either in Winter or next year.
