Ikea’s new limited edition collection cuts across a swath of home categories.

The Sallskap Collection, which began rolling out to U.S. store and online this month, takes its inspiration from Scandinavian arts and crafts movement of the late 19th and early 20th century period.

“It’s a collection that celebrates traditions without losing touch with modern life,” said Mette Nissen, creative leader at Ikea of Sweden.

The collection encompasses bedding, dec pillow covers, kitchen linens, table runners, pre-cut fabrics, furniture, dinnerware and light shades.

“At the heart of Sallskap are home textiles that are inspired by traditional patterns and techniques, such as splash painting and ikat weave,” said Nissen.
