Royal Furniture and Nature Home released their 2016 semi-annual report on August 30. Royal Furniture returned to profitability, achieving net profit of RMB 9.30 million, while Nature Home remained loss making, with the revenue dropped by 5.3% year on year.

Royal Furniture returned to profitability, fulfilling net profit of RMB 8.89 million in the first half year

The interim results announcement of 6 months by June 30, 2016 released by Royal Furniture Holdings Limited mentioned that the operating income of Royal Furniture from January to June 2016 was HKD 363 million (equivalent to about RMB 313 million), increased by HKD 55.035 million (equivalent to about RMB 47.379 million) compared with HKD 308 million (equivalent to about RMB 265 million) in the same period in 2015.

The consolidated net profit of Royal Furniture for the 6 months by June 30, 2016 was HKD 10.327 million (equivalent to about RMB 8.89 million).

Nature Home remained loss in the first half of 2016

According to the 2016 semi-annual report of Nature Home Holding Company Limited, Nature Home achieved the operating income of RMB 859 million by June 30, 2016, down by 5.3% year on year.

The overall turnover of Nature Home stayed stable during the period. Sales of its two core services of production and sale of home decoration products, and provision of trademark and distribution network, separately achieved about 6.4% and 6.5% growth. However, the sales of wood and wood products, and forestry management separately declined by 36.2% and 34.4% during the period, resulting in the overall turnover to slightly decline by 5.3% year on year, and its gross profit rate grew from 27.6% in the same period of 2015 to 28.7%.
