The Zhejiang Provincial Economic and Information Commission and the Provincial Statistics Bureau released relevant data on the production and operation of the Zhejiang furniture industry from January to April 2020. Data show that from January to April, the total output of furniture enterprises above designated size in the province reached 73.132 million pieces, down 13.8%; the total industrial output value was 26.423 billion yuan, down 19.36%. There were 398 loss-making enterprises, an increase of 41.6%, and the loss of loss-making enterprises was 556 million yuan, an increase of 79.2%.

Throughout the period from January to April, the province's economic operation has declined slightly year-on-year, but it has shown an upward trend compared to March.
