MAISON SHANGHAI is the new exhibition comprehensively demonstrating the latest creative trends as well as the beacon and strategic traction of home decoration, household and design. In leading position of this industry in Asia, it reflects unique and marvelous tastes in both oriental and international markets. MAISON SHANGHAI aims to create a fashionable exhibition that catches the hottest trends of home interior lifestyles and furniture chic. In 2016 at MAISON SHANGHAI, you’ll be able to find cutting-edge design and top technology for automobile and home decor from Aston Martin, a concept room by IF Design Award winner Sean Zhang, a fashion celebrity preferred place for shooting from R.G.F, plus a variety of different styles of home solutions by top designers.

Modern Chinese Style sees the fusion of traditional culture with modern design. Maison Shanghai is curated to take up 8000 sqm to display a batch of outstanding works of modern Chinese style, including winners of the Gold Idea Furniture Design Awards as well as those innovative modern lifestyle designs based on inherited Chinese traditional culture. Seven famous designers such as Shen Bao Hong, Hou Zheng Guang, Philip Yap, Zhong Song, Lai Ya Nan, Lu Tao and Wen Hao are appointed as special curators for planning of the Modern Chinese Style exhibition area.

Echoing this themed exhibition will be the event “A Talk with Modern Chinese Style Pioneers”, given by Editorial director of Elle Decoration Leon Sun, the famous floral master Alfie Ling, founder and chief furniture designer at U+ Shen Baohong and well-known artist Zheng Zaidong.  These four artists and masters will share with audience the impact of Eastern design aesthetics on modern life, culture and society.

China Home Design Conference of this year keeps further exploring Chinese design force to be compatible and in line with international higher level. The Conference has invited Mr. Prof. Peter Zec to make a kick-off speech themed as “China’s Way to Success by Design”. Other influential design genius will have an informative communication to share inspirational thoughts and ideas on the Conference.

The four-year-old "Designers’ Night" which has been hailed as an “unmissable design feast” by designers will embrace its 5th edition at SWEECC in 2016. Leading names from fields including architecture, interior design, graphic design and the art – Chairman of the German Red Dot Award Mr. Prof. Peter Zec, judges from the Gold Idea Furniture Design Awards, the top ten designers from C FOUNDATION, plus a cast of 300 designers and 50 media partners will all be communicating the blend of design essence, attitudes to taste and aesthetics.

Home Plus Modern Version will focus on future trends in home decor. Ten of the biggest names in design: Xu Ming, Gary Zeng, Kot Ge, Cathy Wang, Meng Ye, Ben Wu, Alex Sun, Aibin Shaw, Kris Lin and Isabel zhu will display colorful or restrained future home trends across ten spaces, allowing you to walk through the cutting edge of lifestyle decor.
