The 13th Qingdao International Furniture Fair (QIFF) & 4th Woodworking Machinery Fair was opened in Qingdao International Convention Center on May 25. According to the official statistics provided by the organizer, more than 51,000 professional visitors attended the fair on the opening day, filling in all the 8 pavilions and many exhibitors said that they had achieved their first-day sales targets.

The fair covers the whole furniture industry chain such as solid wood furniture, upholstery, panel furniture, office furniture, customized furniture, woodworking machinery, raw and auxiliary materials. Some design companies are also included in the fair.

QIFF, as an extension of Shenzhen International Furniture Exhibition (SIFE), is aiming at integrating the abundant design resources and professional exhibition concepts to the northern  China 2nd, 3rd and 4th-tier market, in order to lead better support and upgrade the local furniture industry.
