　　CALHOUN, Ga. — Surya is set to launch an accessories-focused end of summer sales event on Monday, Aug. 24. The event, which runs through Sept. 30, is intended to give retailers and designers the opportunity to realize the positive impact that the sale of accessories can have on their revenue. The sale has been timed to include the busy Labor Day weekend, enabling retailers to offer more competitive pricing and drive higher traffic to their stores.

　　Surya is offering two special promotions for qualifying accessory orders written during the sale period.

　　 Accessories Savings Pass – Receive 20% off of a $1,000 accessory order along with 20% off all additional accessory orders placed through the end of September.

　　Accessories Add-On Sale – Receive 20% off of any accessories included on a $500-plus rug and/or rug pad order.

“Time and time again, we hear from retailers and designers how their revenue has increased as a result of actively promoting accessories at the time of the upholstery sale,” said Satya Tiwari, president, Surya. “Accessories are an easy add-on at the point of purchase that can continue to generate revenue long after the sale in the form of customer referrals and repeat visits to the store.”

　　With the goal of being a one-stop source for coordinating home accessories, Surya has expanded into additional categories, beginning with the introduction of pillows in 2010 and followed by throws, poufs, wall decor, accent furniture, lighting, decorative accents and – most recently – bedding. All products are matched to their Pantone TPX equivalents, and color palettes are carried throughout the entire line.
