CHINA’S FURNITURE INDUSTRY SEES REVENUE INCREASE

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China’s furniture industry sees its revenue increased 11.4 percent year on year in January-November 2014 period to 643.49 billion Chinese yuan reported Xinhua China Economic Information Service.
The sector made 36.92 billion yuan of total profit in the period, an increase of 16.3 percent year on year. 20.41billion yuan in taxes was paid, up 12.9 percent year on year.
China’s furniture industry posted a sales-output ratio of 97.7 percent in the period, basically equal with that for the same period of 2013; and its value of export delivery came to 146.03 billion yuan, up 4.7 percent year on year.
In November, the sales-output ratios of China’s furniture industry reached 97.7 percent, 0.2 percentage point lower than in the year-earlier period; and the value of export delivery was 14.49 billion yuan, up 1.1 percent year on year.
