IKEA officially opened its new store in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei province on September 17, 2014. A new station of Wuhan metro line close to Ikea store was opened the same day.

As the 16th store in China but the unique one located in China’s central region, Wuhan IKEA received a hot pursuit since its opening.

It was reported that Wuhan IKEA has a total area of 46,000 square meters, involving the home furnishings area of 7,000 square meters, 668-seat dining area and 1,368 free parking spaces. It could provide more than 8,000 kinds of home products for 10,000 customers at a time.
