IKEA China held the 2015 fiscal year press conference on August 14 and released a Chinese Home Life Report mainly focused on bedroom and bathroom, and declared that it’s e-retail to be started in 2016.

Zhu Changlai, the General Manager of IKEA China told the media that IKEA would start online retail in China in the first half of 2016, after the test in several other countries. Zhu explained the online retail would be totally run by IKEA China, definitely not on the third party platform like many home product suppliers did.
