On 15th May 2014, Inter Ikea Center Group China announced the Grand Opening Date of its first super regional Wuxi LIVAT Shopping Centre: June 27th. Managing Director of IICG China, Mr. Ding Hui and Wuxi LIVAT Shopping Centre Manager, Ms. Urszula Łatka together with more than 20 local and national media participated in the event.

Invested 3.2 billion yuan, Wuxi LIVAT Shopping Centre locates in Xishan Developing District to the east of Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. It is the first Inter Ikea project to be completed in China. The total business area of the center is 151,000 sqm gathering 335 well-known fashion, lifestyle, entertainment and catering brands, and the four leading among them are IKEA, Auchan Supermarket, Suning Appliance and Jinyi Cinemas. There are 4,800 parking spaces for the center.

It is said the Wuxi LIVAT Shopping Centre is going to add 8000 jobs for Wuxi City.
